CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy head coach and general manager Bruce Arena shot down reports of Gyasi Zardes heading abroad any time soon after training on Thursday.
Rumors have swirled around the 23-year-old LA Galaxy forward who has been linked to Belgian side Genk and English Championship clubs Brighton and Hove Albion and Reading. However, the Galaxy boss dismissed those reports on Thursday as he prepared for this weekend's clash against New York City FC.
"I think that if you believe anything you read today in papers or websites, you're a dope. Well, most things, you'd have to be pretty stupid to believe," said Arena. "My guess is that Gyasi is going to be playing with us."
