SAN JOSE, Calif. -- LA Galaxy head coach and general manager Bruce Arena is closing in on yet another record as he prepares to lead his club against the San Jose Earthquakes on Friday.
If Arena bags a win in the Cali Clasico, the Galaxy boss will break a tie with former Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear and onetime New England Revolution manager Steve Nicol for the most MLS regular season wins with a one team. Currently the three head coaches are tied with 112 wins apiece for their respective clubs.
