Gyasi Zardes did not get on the score sheet during the U.S. National Team's scoreless draw with Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday, but the LA Galaxy striker did tie a long-standing USMNT record.
With his 19th appearance in 2015, Zardes equaled Claudio Reyna's record for most appearances by a player in their first year with the U.S. National Team. Reyna, a retired central midfielder, set the record as a 21-year-old back in 1994.
Zardes ends 2015 with three goals and four assists for the USMNT.
