CARSON, Calif. – Robbie Rogers is progressing in his recovery from a hip contusion suffered last week against the Portland Timbers.
Rogers was forced to exit the Galaxy’s 1-1 draw with Portland in the eighth minute with a hip contusion. The 28-year-old did not train with the club on Tuesday and is not expected to play against the Houston Dynamo on Friday, but Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena said the right back is moving forward.
"He should be back shortly," Arena said on Tuesday.
