CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy will face FC Dallas in the U.S. Open Cup semifinals.
The Galaxy advanced to the semis for the first time since the 2006 season on Wednesday with a 4-2 victory over Seattle Sounders FC at StubHub Center. They'll meet FC Dallas who advanced with a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo.
The semifinal will take place in August at a venue to be determined on Thursday at 8 am PT.
