The LA Galaxy Academy U-16's are heating up in Mexico City!
Day 2 of the Liga Bancomer International Tournament took place where the LA Galaxy U-16's defeated FC Dallas 2-0 on Friday morning.
Jake Arteaga opened the scoring early in the 14th minute for the Galaxy. Though both sides had their fair share of chances as the match wore on, it was the Galaxy again who found the scoresheet as Jonathan Estrada doubled the lead off a corner kick in the 59th minute.
The U-16's are now 2-0-0 in tournament play and will face the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, August 6 at 8 a.m. PT. Fans can watch a live stream of the match at LAGalaxy.com.
