CARSON, Calif. – Bruce Arena told Spectrum SportsNet’s Kelli Tennant that the club is waiting until the end of the decision to decide the futures of Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane.
At the team’s season ticket member event on Thursday, Tennant asked the Galaxy head coach and general manager about the team’s DP plans heading into the 2017 season. Arena was brief with his response, stating that only Giovani dos Santos is signed for next year.
“We return one of our DPs in Giovani dos Santos, who is under contract for a number of years," Arena said. "Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard are out of contract at the end of the year, and we’re going to sit down with them and make decisions from that. If we have any available spots, we’re certainly going to be aggressive."
