Romain Alessandrini is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.
The Galaxy's French Designated Player departed Marseille morning and will arrive in Los Angeles this afternoon. Alessandrini will take part in his first day of training with his new club on Monday.
Alessandrini, 27, was signed by the Galaxy in late January after he spent the last two-and-a-half seasons with Marseille.
Prior to leaving, he took to Instagram to bid farewell to France and state his excitement about his move to the United States.
