Congratulations to the LA Galaxy U-16s!
This weekend, LA Galaxy U-16 competed in the The Generation adidas Cup, one of the premier competitive youth soccer tournaments in North America. The Academy U-16 team entered the regional qualifying weekend third in the West with a record of 2-0-1.
The U-16s faced tough matchups versus the San Jose Earthquakes U-16, Colorado Rapids U-16, and the Seattle Sounders U-16. The Academy swept all three matchups landing the team first in the West region.
The U-16 team will now face international competition in the 2017 Generation adidas Cup Finals at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas from April 7 to April 15, 2017.
