CARSON, Calif. -- Giovani dos Santos is ready to return to action for the LA Galaxy for this weekend's clash against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Dos Santos has been in full training for a week and a half after suffering a hamstring injury in the first half of the Galaxy's loss to Portland Timbers on March 12. The injury forced dos Santos to miss Mexico's 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the Galaxy's match in Salt Lake City two weeks ago.
On Thursday, head coach Curt Onalfo confirmed that dos Santos will be available for the game in Vancouver.
"I feel great. Finally, I’m back with the team," dos Santos said. "I feel 100 percent. I’m ready to go on Saturday. I feel confident to start if I’m asked against Vancouver."
