CARSON, Calif. -- Sebastian Lletget confirmed on Instagram that he underwent successful surgery to repair his Lisfranc injury in his left foot.
Lletget suffered the injury during the U.S. National Team's victory over Honduras last month and was diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury that will keep him out for four to six months. After the surgery, Lletget wrote a kind note on his official Instagram account.
"Surgery was a success! The healing process begins," Lletget wrote. "I don't know how to even begin to describe the gratitude I have towards this angel right here. Going to be a long journey, but having you next to me has made it so much easier."
