The votes are in! Through an exciting and first-of-its-kind Facebook application, the LA Galaxy, along with Herbalife and adidas allowed fans to decide what the club’s 3rd kit will look like for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Fans submitted more than 8,000 designs and were able to cast their votes between June 8-22, selecting one of the five final kits.
In the end, the five finalists that emerged were what the group deemed to be the best representation of each theme. These were the five:
In July, the 5th place kit was revealed to be Angel Houts' Laker-inspired design.
In August, the 4th place kit was revealed to be Jeremy Marcus' new age gold design.

In third place, with 23.1% of the total vote, is Andy Canales.
Andy told LAGalaxy.com that the old green & gold Galaxy kits inspired his design. Andy has been a Galaxy fan since he was four years old when his dad took him to one of the club's first games against D.C. United in May 1996. He first became a Galaxy Season Ticket Holder in 2006 and said that he "will be for the rest of my life!"
