CARSON, Calif. (Friday, July 13, 2012) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has made more than 2,000 additional tickets available for their upcoming friendly against Real Madrid at The Home Depot Center. That game, which is part of the Herbalife World Football Challenge, will be played on Thursday, August 2 with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
With demand for tickets to the friendly between the Galaxy and the reigning La Liga champions at an all-time high, the Galaxy and The Home Depot Center will add temporary bleachers to the northwest, northeast and southeast corners of the stadium for this match. The bleachers will create more than 2,000 new seats above the stadium’s 27,000 capacity. All individual tickets in these sections will cost $62.50 while groups of 10 or more can get tickets for $55 each.
The club has also opened up additional seating on the grass berm at the north end of the stadium. All individual tickets on the berm will cost $55 while groups of 10 or more can get tickets for $47.50 each.

That game is one of the highlights of the Galaxy’s Summer of Soccer that will also see the club take on Premier League power Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday, July 24. Fresh off a fourth place finish in the 2011-12 season, matching their best-ever finish in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur come to Southern California to face the Galaxy for the first time. Only a select number of tickets for this game, which will feature a number of top international stars such as Rafael Van der Vaart, Brad Friedel and Scott Parker, are still available, with prices starting at just $60.
