LA Galaxy II midfielder Alejandro Covarrubias has been named to USL’s Team of the Week for Week 13.
Covarrubias provided strong leadership and an attacking threat from the center of the midfield as the Galaxy II earned a 1-0 victory on the road against Rio Grande Valley FC. He earns the Team of the Week nod in just his fourth start since returning to the Galaxy in May, and remains the club’s all-time leader in appearances.
