Highlighting leaders in the Hispanic and LA Galaxy communities

What does it mean for you to be a part of both the Hispanic Community and the LA Galaxy community?
Being part of both the Hispanic community and the LA Galaxy community is deeply meaningful because it allows me to bridge two powerful cultures and influences. The Hispanic community is rooted in rich traditions, strong family values, and a deep sense of community. The LA Galaxy community, on the other hand, represents a dynamic, diverse, and passionate group of individuals who come together through their love of soccer. Together, these communities embody unity, resilience, and the drive for excellence. Being part of both allows me to celebrate my heritage while also contributing to the growth and success of a sport that brings people from all walks of life together.
What impact do you want to leave on the community and future generations?
I want to leave an impact that inspires future generations to believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. My goal is to create a legacy where everyone feels empowered to make a difference, no matter how big or small their contributions may be. Through my work, I hope to cultivate a sense of pride, unity, and mutual respect within the community, ensuring that future generations have the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. Ultimately, I want to leave behind a community that is stronger, more connected, and more inclusive than ever before.

What does it mean for you to be a part of both the Hispanic Community and the LA Galaxy community?
I am proud to be part of the Hispanic community and the LA Galaxy community, where I deeply connect with our cultural roots. Many of us come to this country in search of better opportunities and a brighter future for our children. I strive to represent my community because I know the struggles and hard work we face every day just to make ends meet. LA Galaxy has not only provided great support to our community, but they have also opened doors and inspired kids who might never have had such opportunities otherwise.
What impact do you want to leave on the community and future generations?
Growing up in a struggling household, I wasn’t exposed to many opportunities. Soccer played a significant role in our lives because it was both affordable and accessible, offering us a way to spend our time. As an adult, I now understand what it takes to be successful and recognize the opportunities I missed out on. While I can’t change the past, I’m committed to ensuring that kids in my community have the chances I didn’t. I see myself in them, and I’m determined to keep opening doors and expanding their horizons, helping them imagine the possibilities and set goals for their future.

What does it mean for you to be a part of both the Hispanic Community and the LA Galaxy community?
Being a member of both the LA Galaxy community and the Hispanic community signifies a sense of belonging; it feels like family. Whether you attend every game or not, belong to a supporter’s group, or are a season ticket member, it doesn't matter. When I see someone in the community wearing Galaxy gear, I instantly recognize them as part of my family.
What impact do you want to leave on the community and future generations?
The legacy I aim to create is that we can achieve remarkable things, even on a small scale. As Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve.” You don’t need a college degree, certification, or anything else to contribute to your community. I am just one person but together if we all do a little bit that can become a lot and us us "G's" can contribute positively to our larger community.
