David Beckham paid tribute to former LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez in a way that millions on social media can relate: with an Instagram comment.
On a post on the Galaxy's official page announcing the transfer of Gonzalez to Liga MX side Pachuca, Beckham chimed in with some kind words for the defender who was a teammate of his from 2009 to 2012.
"A great player that has spent many great years with us," Beckham wrote. " Grown as a person and a player and will continue to get stronger. Good luck man, DB."
