LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, June 6, 2023) – Dignity Health Sports Park today unveiled a special mark to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the home of the LA Galaxy.
“Dignity Health Sports Park has hosted hundreds of world-class events throughout the 20 years of the facility’s history,” said Dignity Health Sports Park General Manager Katie Pandolfo. “As the home of the LA Galaxy, we’re proud to unveil the 20th anniversary mark for Dignity Health Sports Park and look forward to providing a first-class experience to fans for years to come.”The LA Galaxy will hold the grand opening and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Galaxy Park in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Dignity Health Sports Park on Wednesday, June 21, when the club plays host to Sporting Kansas City. Galaxy Park includes five 5v5 soccer fields, three futsal courts, eight Pickleball courts and four Padel courts and is home to a number of other recreational activities. All of the new recreational options have public availability.

Throughout its 20 years as one the premier sporting venues in the United States, Dignity Health Sports Park has been host to a number of events including the 2003 MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup (2003, 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014), the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup group stage matches and Final, Concacaf Gold Cup (2011, 2015), Liga MX’s Campeón de Campeones, The CrossFit Games, Wango Tango (2012-17, 2019, 2022), World Rugby Sevens, U.S. Soccer Men’s and Women’s National Team matches, the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers and will be home to rugby, tennis, modern pentathlon, field hockey and track cycling for the 2028 Olympics.
