This will be the first-ever game between the Galaxy and AC St. Louis and LA’s first Open Cup Third Round game since 2007. From 2003-2006, the Galaxy entered the Open Cup in the Fourth Round.
In addition to winning the Open Cup in 2001 and 2005, the Galaxy reached the Final in 2002 and 2006 while reaching the tournament’s semifinals in 2000 and 2003.
On Saturday, the Galaxy begin the second half of their season when they travel north to Canada to take on Toronto FC. That game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. (PT) and can be seen live on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Espanol.
