Protect the Pitch Night
The LA Galaxy will celebrate Protect the Pitch Night in conjunction with MLS WORKS Greener Goals Week of Service during their match against the Houston Dynamo on Friday, April 19.
Before the match, all fans attending Friday's contest can tour the Galaxy Garden free of charge. The Galaxy Garden, an on-site garden and greenhouse that grows fruits and vegetables consumed by the players and staff daily, is located on the southwest corner of the stadium concourse.
To reduce carbon footprint, all fans are encouraged to ride Galaxy Express to the match Friday; the first 200 riders on Galaxy Express Friday will receive an LA Galaxy t-shirt. Galaxy Express offers fans free non-stop shuttles to and from Dignity Health Sports Park for every LA Galaxy home match. For all information, visit www.lagalaxy.com/shuttle.
The LA Galaxy and Houston Dynamo will wear special adidas x Parley eco-friendly kits as part of Protect the Pitch Night, marking the fourth-straight year the Galaxy will wear these Parley kits. These innovative kits, built with Climalite technology, are made from technical yarns comprised of Parley Ocean Plastic™. As part of the global adidas x Parley initiative, plastic waste collected on beaches and in coastal communities is transformed into high-performance sportswear.
LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Team
The LA Galaxy Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC) Unified Team will kick off the 2019 season at Dignity Health Sports Park on Friday, April 19 following the LA Galaxy vs. Houston Dynamo MLS match. The SOSC Unified Team will face the Houston Dynamo Special Olympics Unified team.

eSports Night
The LA Galaxy will host eSports Night this Friday as they host the Houston Dynamo. Tickets purchased through the eSports Night package will include a choice of an Xbox or PlayStation LA Galaxy controller skin, while VIP tickets will have an opportunity to play 1-on-1 against a member of the LA Galaxy eSports Team. Tickets start at $16 apiece in Mezzanine 3. The offer expires four hours prior to kick off.
All five of the Galaxy’s eSports players are scheduled to attend including eMLS Western Conference Champion and U.S. eNT player Giuseppe “The GodFather” Guastella and John “xBleu” Garcia currently ranked 69th globally.
The event begins at 5:30 pm and will feature a pregame meet-and-greet IRL at the Tennis Pavilion. FIFA 19 will be set up on 15 TVs for eSports ticket holders to enjoy. In addition to the chance to play FIFA 19 with your buddies, the Galaxy will host a 10-15-minute Q&A session with eMLS players prior to gates opening.
LA Galaxy Foundation Auction
Game worn Parley kits will be auctioned off to benefit the LA Galaxy Foundation. To register and start bidding, fans can visit www.lagalaxy.com/parley. Fans can also text “GALAXY’ to “52182” to bid.
Nacho of the Match
The delicious BBQ inspired LA Galaxy Nacho of the Match against the Houston Dynamo will include tortilla chips covered in cheddar cheese sauce and topped with smoked brisket and grilled corn pico de gallo.

Galaxy Express
To reduce carbon footprint, all fans are encouraged to ride Galaxy Express to the match Friday; the first 200 riders on Galaxy Express Friday will receive an LA Galaxy t-shirt. The LA Galaxy shuttle, Galaxy Express, will begin 90 minutes before kick off on Saturday, operating approximately every 10 minutes and running through the match’s 15th minute. Return trips will operate from the 75th minute through 45 minutes after the final whistle. Parking is free at our two Galaxy Express pickup/drop-off locations:
