Mexican National Team Head Coach Juan Carlos Osorio has called up LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos and midfielder Jonathan dos Santos ahead of the first match of the 2018 Mexican National Team U.S. Tour on Wednesday, Jan. 31 against Bosnia and Herzegovina (6:00 p.m. PT) at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The international exhibition is the first of 2018 for Mexico, a year that will see the CONCACAF Hexagonal leaders take on Germany, Korea Republic and Sweden in Group F at 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
Giovani and Jonathan were most recently called into the national team for games in Europe against Belgium and Poland last November, rounding out a busy 2017 with the Mexican National Team. Giovani made his 100th appearance for the Mexico and both recorded appearances and starts in World Cup Qualifiers as well as the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Giovani and Jonathan will miss the early part of LA Galaxy’s upcoming week of training in Tucson, Ariz. They are expected to reunite with the Galaxy ahead of the Feb. 3 friendly against Real Salt Lake in Tucson.
Giovani finished the 2017 MLS campaign with 25 appearances – all starts – while adding six goals and three assists on the year. Jonathan joined the Galaxy mid-year and made his first appearance in August before finishing the year with 12 appearances in addition to a goal and assist.
