When did you become a Season Ticket Member? Our family became full season ticket members in 2019, after attending games for over a decade. It was the perfect time to build up a tradition of going to as many matches as possible to make memories with our family of five, while bringing friends with us whenever possible to introduce them to the LA Galaxy experience.
Who is your favorite LA Galaxy player of all time? So many, but my favorite all time is Robbie Keane - for his competitive fire and deadly scoring - with our favorite current player being Julian Araujo - for his tenacity on the field and his commitment to community action off the field.
What is your favorite LA Galaxy moment? My favorite moment on-field was being there for the 2014 MLS Cup and witnessing Robbie Keane score the match winner and doing his patented goal celebration right in front of where we were seated - such a magical time! Off the field, my favorite moments revolve around my three kids - my oldest discovering his love of playing soccer through a LA Galaxy youth camp, my middle son having a full LA Galaxy-themed birthday party, and my youngest connecting with Cozmo.
What do the LA Galaxy mean to you? The LA Galaxy means so much to us. It's having a club that we can identify with and for our three young boys to grow up with. They are our hometown club, but it's more than just the players and match day. It's the community of supporters that we connect with, both local and abroad. It's the history and tradition of excellence and innovation, of living with the ups and downs, good times and not so good, yet being loyal to the team while the team stays committed to the fans. It's the players, Joe and Cobi, the team and stadium staff, and Cozmo. Altogether, it's the cumulative memories of each match and experience that are threads in the backstory of our lives.
What is your favorite thing about being an LA Galaxy Season Ticket Member? Being a season ticket member is having a direct, real connection to the club. We love the special STM events and opportunities, and certainly value the communication I have with our representative.
Do you have a special game day routine? Game day starts out by picking the perfect jersey to wear from my collection of LA Galaxy kits. From there, it's gathering the family and whichever friends that are coming with us to get to the stadium early, meeting up, and enjoying the LA Riot Squad tailgate. Then it's getting into the stadium, buying a bucket of cookies, finding Cozmo so our youngest can give him a hug, taking in all the sights and sounds, then settling into our seats to cheer on our LA Galaxy.
