LOS ANGELES (Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021) – The LA Galaxy today announced that the club has acquired Nashville SC’s natural first-round pick (21st overall) in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for forward Ethan Zubak. By acquiring Nashville’s natural first round pick, the Galaxy now hold one first-round pick (21st overall) in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft.
Originally signed to a Homegrown Player contract on March 8, 2019, Zubak registered three goals and one assist in 36 regular-season appearances (17 starts) across three seasons played (2019-21) for the Galaxy. After signing with LA Galaxy II from the LA Galaxy Academy on May 18, 2016, Zubak tallied 27 goals and six assists in 103 career regular-season appearances (75 starts) across six seasons played (2015-2020, 2021) for Los Dos.
