LA Galaxy announce 2022 preseason roster

LOS ANGELES (Friday, January 28, 2022) – The LA Galaxy today announced its preseason roster in advance of the 2022 Major League Soccer Regular Season.

The LA Galaxy began preseason training at Dignity Health Sports Park last week with a total of 34 players, including 26 players currently on the club’s first-team roster and four members of LA Galaxy II.

The Galaxy will play host to Toronto FC in a closed-door scrimmage on Saturday, Jan. 29 before squaring off against the New England Revolution on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The Galaxy will then travel to Indio, Calif., to play matches against Seattle Sounders FC (Thursday, Feb.10) and New York Red Bulls (Sunday, Feb. 13) as part of the closed door Coachella Valley Invitational. The club will then return to Carson to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC in a closed-door scrimmage on Wednesday, Feb. 16 before closing out preseason preparations as the team hosts D.C. United on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Dignity Health Sports Park.

Tickets are now available for the Galaxy’s preseason matches at Dignity Health Sports Park against the New England Revolution on Feb. 5 and D.C. United on Feb. 19 by clicking HERE. Access to both preseason matches is included in season ticket memberships. Additionally, the matches against the New England Revolution on Feb. 5 and D.C. United on Feb. 19 will be streamed live on www.LAGalaxy.com.

The LA Galaxy will kick off the 2022 MLS Regular Season on Sunday, Feb. 27 when the club hosts 2021 MLS Cup Champions New York City FC at Dignity Health Sports Park.
