LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022) – The five-time MLS Cup Champions LA Galaxy announced today the club’s 2023 MLS Regular Season schedule. In their 28th season in Major League Soccer, the Galaxy will open the 2023 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 25 (6:30 p.m. PT) at Rose Bowl Stadium against LAFC in the 17th edition across all competitions of El Tráfico live on the Apple TV app. LA’s 2023 home opener at Dignity Health Sports Park will take place against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, March 18 (7:30 p.m. PT) on the Apple TV app.
The 2023 season will also see the debut of _MLS Season Pass_, the unprecedented subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that will have every match of the MLS regular season, Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs, and Leagues Cup1 – all in one place and with no blackouts. With MLS Season Pass, fans can enjoy every MLS match, an average of 13 games each Saturday night, on billions of devices through the Apple TV app on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, and game consoles, and the web at tv.apple.com. The launch of MLS Season Pass on Feb. 1, 2023 marks the official kickoff of the 10-year partnership between MLS and Apple, a historic first for a major professional sports league.
With a focus on building a schedule to best serve the league’s passionate fans and drive destination viewing and attendance, the majority of games in the 2023 season will be played on Saturday, and select Wednesdays, with 7:30 p.m. local start times. To complement the action, MLS Season Pass will offer a five-hour live whip-around show, capturing all of the key moments from every match from the start of the Eastern Conference games through the final whistle of the Western Conference games (4:30 p.m. PT – 9:30 p.m. PT).
The LA Galaxy will square off against LAFC three times during the 2023 campaign. After opening up the season against LAFC on Feb. 25, the LA Galaxy will host their crosstown rivals at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday, April 16 (1:30 p.m. PT) on FOX and the Apple TV app, before traveling to face LAFC at Banc of California Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16 (7:30 p.m. PT) on the Apple TV app. LA will travel to face MLS’ newest expansion club St. Louis City SC at CITYPARK on Sunday, June 11(10:00 a.m. PT). The Galaxy’s annual Fourth of July game will feature a contest against St. Louis City SC at Dignity Health Sports Park, continuing the club’s long-standing tradition of hosting a match on Independence Day.
LA will play host to three Eastern Conference teams (Charlotte FC, Chicago Fire FC, Philadelphia Union) at Dignity Health Sports Park, while hitting the road three times against Eastern Conference opponents (Columbus Crew SC, D.C. United, Orlando City SC).
Season Ticket Members will be able to purchase single-game tickets via a presale today, starting at 1:00 p.m. PT. Single-game tickets to LA Galaxy home games are scheduled to go on sale to the general public today, beginning at 3:00 p.m. PT on www.lagalaxy.com/tickets.

Prior to the Galaxy’s 2023 opening match, the club will square off against Toronto FC in a preseason match at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, Feb. 18. Originally scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT, the preseason match against Toronto will now kick off at 6:30 p.m. PT.
As part of the 2023 schedule announcement, the LA Galaxy announced the club’s theme nights for home contests at Dignity Health Sports Park. Theme nights during the 2023 campaign include Central American Heritage Night, on Saturday, April 1 against Seattle Sounders FC. The Galaxy will host Pride Night on Saturday, May 27 against Charlotte FC to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, while squaring off against the Portland Timbers on Saturday, Sept. 30 on Hispanic Heritage Night. Finally, LA will play host to FC Dallas on Saturday, Oct. 21 in its regular-season home finale on Fan Appreciation Night.
Additionally, the LA Galaxy announced the continuation of the LAX Away Travel program presented by Alaska Airlines. More information on discounted flights, hotel and tickets will be available in the coming year.

MLS Conference Alignment
With the addition of St. Louis CITY SC to the Western Conference, Nashville SC will rejoin the Eastern Conference.
MLS Schedule Construction
The 14 Western Conference teams will play:
- Two games vs. each intra-conference opponent (26 games)
- One game vs. 1 or 2 additional intra-conference opponents (1-2 games)
- One game vs. 6 or 7 different cross-conference opponents (6-7 games)
Leagues Cup Break
In a monumental new chapter for North American soccer, beginning in 2023, all 47 MLS and LIGA MX clubs will compete in a completely reimagined Leagues Cup: an annual, month-long, Concacaf-sanctioned tournament. Leagues Cup 2023 will make history as the first major soccer tournament to feature every club from a pair of top-flight leagues. The MLS regular season will pause following the July 15 games for Leagues Cup play and resume on Aug. 20.
MLS Decision Day 2023
In the final day of action on Oct. 21, all teams will face intra-conference opponents with everything on the line in a battle for playoff spots and seeding. Starting February 1, fans can subscribe to MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app for the price of $14.99 per month during the season or $99 per season, and Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up at a special price of $12.99 per month and $79 per season. A subscription to MLS Season Pass will be included with each full-season ticket account. Through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share the subscription using their own Apple ID and password.
