LOS ANGELES (Monday, Oct. 10, 2022) – The LA Galaxy today announced programming for their Round One match of the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs against Nashville SC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, Oct. 15 (12:00 p.m. PT; UniMás and TUDN). The Galaxy begin their 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs campaign, presented by Modelo, as the fourth seed, squaring off for the first-time ever against fifth-seeded Nashville SC in the playoffs. Fans are encouraged to arrive early with gates opening two hours early at 10:00 a.m. PT.

The first 25,000 fans to enter Dignity Health Sports Park on matchday will receive Blue & Gold inflatable cheer sticks.
SoccerFest
LA Galaxy alumni autographs will take place in SoccerFest from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. PT. The full list of alumni will be published later this week. Additionally, the Funzone will be full of activities. The LA Galaxy partnered with DGK and Tech Deck to create a first-of-its kind, exclusive “Locally Grown, Globally Known” Tech Deck. The deck will be available this Saturday at Cozmo’s Closet for fans under the age of 16. Special playoff photo activations such as a 360 Degree Photobooth and an updated playoff backdrop will be in SoccerFest for fans to take pictures. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for music by DJ Los and the Will Makar and the Red Line Band.
LA Galaxy Foundation
The LA Galaxy Foundation will have an auction in which fans can bid for the chance to win a framed LA Galaxy team-signed 2012 MLS Cup Champions jersey. Mystery bags will be available to purchase from the LA Galaxy Foundation. All bags include a signed soccer ball from a first-team player as well as other surprises.

The exclusive “Legends Never Die” playoff collection, which includes a tee, hoodie and scarf, will be available on gameday while supplies last. As a thank you to fans, the LA Galaxy Team Store is offering a special adidas discount only on gameday. Fans will get 50% off adidas product when they purchase two or more adidas items.

In two all-time matches played between the LA Galaxy and Nashville SC, the Galaxy hold an unbeaten record of 1-0-1. In the first-ever meeting between LA and Nashville, the Galaxy earned a 1-0 win at Dignity Health Sports Park on April 23, 2022. The last time the Galaxy have hosted a playoff match was a 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals at home on Oct. 30, 2016. The Galaxy have qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs for the 20th time in the club’s 27 years in MLS. Since the start of the 2009 season, the Galaxy have hosted 18 playoff matches in Carson, including MLS Cup 2011, 2012 and 2014. In those 18 home playoff matches at Dignity Health Sports Park, the Galaxy are 15-2-1, while holding a 45-23-7 record in 75 all-time playoff matches.
