LA Galaxy back at StubHub Center to host Colorado Rapids | Weekly Schedule

LOS ANGELES (Monday, Aug. 28, 2017) –
LA Galaxy (6-14-5, 23 points) will go through a full week of training before hosting Colorado Rapids (6-15-4, 22 points) at 8 p.m. PT on Saturday, Sept. 2 at StubHub Center (Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes).

The last time the Rapids visited StubHub Center, Giovani dos Santos headed home the game-winning goal in the first leg of the 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Seminfals. The Galaxy are a dominant 23-7-5 against Colorado at home, and 36-25-10 all time against the club. The two clubs have played to draws in each of the last three MLS Regular Season contests at StubHub Center.
The Rapids are winless on the road in 2017, going 0-10-2 on the season. The Galaxy will be looking for their first home win since April 7 as they try to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Galaxy are 1-8-4 at home this season and will be without Giovani dos Santos, Jonathan dos Santos and Clement Diop, who were all called in for World Cup Qualifiers by their respective countries.
