The LA Galaxy (7-7-4, 25 points) will begin a three-game road stretch this week, facing New England Revolution at 4:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, July 14 at Gillette Stadium (Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes).
The Galaxy enter the week 8th in the MLS Western Conference standings, with the Revolution occupying the 5th place spot in the Eastern Conference. The Galaxy are 2-3-3 on the road in 2018, while New England is 6-2-3 at home. LA are 18-16-7 all-time against New England, going 6-11-3 against them on the road.
LA return to action a week after picking up four points in two home matches against D.C. United and Columbus Crew SC last week. Zlatan Ibrahimović and Chris Pontius scored in the Galaxy 2-2 draw with D.C. United on July 4, while Ola Kamara, Ibrahimović and Romain Alessandrini (2) all scored in the Galaxy’s 4-0 rout of Columbus Crew SC on July 7.
After New England, the Galaxy will face Philadelphia Union away on July 21 followed by the team’s first trip to LAFC on July 26.
