LOS ANGELES (Monday, Nov. 26, 2018) – The LA Galaxy announced today the club has exercised contract options for four players from the team’s 2018 roster. An additional 12 players remain under contract, bringing the club’s current roster to 16 players under contract for the 2019 Major League Soccer season.
The Galaxy have exercised contract options on the following four players: midfielder Sebastian Lletget, defender Daniel Steres, midfielder Bradford Jamieson IV and goalkeeper Justin Vom Steeg.
Additionally, the LA Galaxy have declined the options of the following players: defender Michael Ciani, goalkeeper Brian Sylvestre, forward Ariel Lassiter, defender Sheanon Williams, defender Ashley Cole, defender Rolf Feltscher, midfielder Baggio Husidic, and midfielder Servando Carrasco.
Three players from the 2018 roster are out of contract, with new contract negotiations for 2019 underway: midfielder Chris Pontius, defender Dave Romney, and midfielder Emmanuel Boateng.
