LOS ANGELES (Monday, Aug. 13, 2018) – The LA Galaxy (10-8-6, 36 points) are quickly back to StubHub Center to host Colorado Rapids (6-12-5, 23 points) at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, Aug. 11. The match will be broadcast live on Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum Deportes.
The Galaxy will then travel to face Seattle Sounders FC (9-9-5, 32 points) at 1 p.m. PT on Saturday, Aug. 18 at CenturyLink Field. That match will be broadcast live on ESPN.
The #Zlatan500 watch is in full effect. Ibrahimović is just two goals shy of 500 goals for club and country, a feat achieved only by two active players: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The Galaxy face Colorado Rapids just 10 days after visiting Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Aug. 4. Colorado snapped a nine-game LA Galaxy unbeaten streak in their 2-1 win. Romain Alessandrini scored for the LA Galaxy in the contest – he’s scored in every regular season game he’s ever played against the side. The Galaxy won 3-0 the last time Colorado visited StubHub Center, with goals from Alessandrini, Ema Boateng, and Gyasi Zardes.
Against Seattle, LA is 9-6-8 all-time. The Galaxy are 4-3-5 in road games against the Sounders, with their one contest in Seattle last season ending in a 1-1 draw.
