LA Galaxy have announced Galaxy Throwback Night to be hosted at StubHub Center as part of the Galaxy’s match on Saturday, May 6 against the Chicago Fire, presented by 76. LA Galaxy will turn back the clock with retro giveaways, playlists and in-stadium video, giving fans a unique look into the club’s storied past. This is the second-straight year the club has hosted Galaxy Throwback Night.
The first 12,500 fans into the stadium will be gifted with their own limited edition Galaxy Throwback shirt. The vintage gold kit with a green sash was worn by the Galaxy from 2003-06 with different variations, most notably donned in the Galaxy’s 2005 MLS Cup season.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet legendary LA Galaxy goalkeepers Kevin Hartman and Matt Reis before the Galaxy take on the Fire. Between 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. PT, both Hartman and Reis will be in SoccerFest to meet fans and sign autographs so be sure to arrive early and say hello!
Come early for pregame 90's trivia and stay late for the throwback-colored confetti. Fans are encouraged to share their favorite throwback Galaxy jerseys, memories or memorabilia with the hashtag #GalaxyThrowback.
