(Monday, May 30, 2016) – The LA Galaxy (5-2-5, 20 points) return to StubHub Center for a match this Thursday, June 2, at 7:30 p.m. PT against Sporting Kansas City (Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Time Warner Cable Deportes). LA Galaxy II travels to Bonney Field for a match against rivals Sacramento Republic FC this Saturday, June 4, at 8 p.m. PT.

All time, the Galaxy are 24-20-12 against Sporting Kansas City, and have gone 16-5-6 in matches played at home. In their most recent contest, the Galaxy earned a 1-1 draw at Children’s Mercy Park behind a goal from Giovani dos Santos. Thursday marks the second of three matches between LA and SKC this season, with the two sides set to square off again on Sunday, Sept. 18 in Kansas City.
This season, the Galaxy are 4-0-2 at StubHub Center, scoring 18 goals while allowing just eight. The Galaxy have been one of the most successful MLS teams at home during the last four seasons, scoring 135 total goals at StubHub Center, the most of any team. The Galaxy’s home MLS record throughout the last four seasons is 38-5-13, with 135 goals for and just 44 against. Since 2014, the Galaxy have only lost five of their previous 56 MLS games at StubHub Center.
The LA Galaxy will host #GalaxyThrowback Night Thursday night at StubHub Center to celebrate the vibrant and trophy-filled history of the LA Galaxy organization. Fans are encouraged to wear their throwback Galaxy jerseys to the match. Before the match, players will wear throwback LA Galaxy warm-ups. These game-worn autographed warm-ups will be auctioned online here with proceeds supporting the non-profit Galaxy Foundation.
