LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy have announced a full watch party schedule for the U.S. Women’s National Team’s group stage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. Viewing parties will take place at Tom’s Urban at LA LIVE as the LA Galaxy celebrate the USWNT during the world’s biggest soccer tournament.
The USWNT World Cup Watch Party Series will kick off as the U.S. begin their World Cup campaign against Thailand on Tuesday, June 11. The U.S. will then face Chile on Sunday, June 16 and will finish off the group stage against Sweden on Thursday, June 20. Should the USWNT advance, the watch party series will continue for future U.S. matches.
Tom’s Urban will feature drink specials during the watch parties, including LA Galaxy partner Angry Orchard. To help cheer on the USWNT, Galaxy Star Squad and the Galaxy’s beloved mascot Cozmo will be in attendance for every match. All ages are welcome to attend this free event series.
The LA Galaxy and U.S. Women's National Team have partnered up for a poster giveaway for the USWNT's final group stage games and their knockout game. Posters of Christen Press (Sunday, June 16 vs. Chile), Alex Morgan (Thursday, June 20 vs. Sweden) and Megan Rapinoe (Knockout Round, TBD) are set to be distributed.
Featured beers will include Bud Light and Angry Orchard. Additionally, $10 wings and sliders will be available during the World Cup games.
