LOS ANGELES (Monday, Oct. 5, 2020) - LA Galaxy II will face Reno 1868 FC in their first match of the 2020 USL Championship Playoffs on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. PT at Greater Nevada Field in Reno live on ESPN+. Los Dos finish the regular season 8-6-2 with 26 points (4-3-1 at home and 4-3-1 on the road), earning them second place in Group B standings and clinching a berth in the USL Championship Playoffs for the second-straight season.
Should LA Galaxy II win against Reno 1868 FC, the club will face the winner of the Phoenix Rising FC-Sacramento Republic match set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. PT. Forward Augustine Williams notched 13 goals for LA Galaxy II this year, the second most of any player in USL Championship goalscoring.
LA Galaxy II completed regular season play on Saturday. In the revised USL 2020 schedule, the league's clubs played 263 games over 13 weeks to decide which 16 teams advanced to the 2020 USL Championship Playoffs, beginning this week.
LA Galaxy II competed in the USL Championship Group B for the revised 2020 campaign alongside the following clubs: San Diego Loyal, Phoenix Rising FC, Las Vegas Lights FC and Orange County SC.
