CARSON, Calif. (Saturday, Aug. 31, 2014) – LA Galaxy II (14-7-5, 47 points) will the Richmond Kickers Monday at StubHub Center’s main stadium in Week 25 of USL PRO action, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. PT live on www.lagalaxy.com.
The match marks the only time Los Dos will face off against Richmond in USL PRO play. Richmond, led by head coach Leigh Cowlishaw, are currently in third place in the USL PRO standings, just three points ahead of Los Dos.
Less than a week after clinching a USL PRO home playoff berth in their inaugural season, Galaxy II will look to build a winning streak after they defeated the Real Salt Lake Reserves, 1-0 on Monday. Forward Charlie Rugg scored the game’s only goal, as he headed home a free kick from midfielder Andre Auras in the first half.
Following the match against Real Salt Lake Reserves, Curt Onalfo’s squad will play their final game of the USL PRO regular season when they face Sacramento Republic FC on the road Saturday, Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. PT.
