CARSON, Calif. (Friday, April 10, 2015) – LA Galaxy II (0-2-1) will travel north for their first road match this season when they face Sacramento Republic FC Saturday, April 11 at Bonney Field with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com.
Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, Los Dos will seek their first win of the year following an 0-2-1 start to the season. Galaxy II last played on Saturday when they fell 2-1 to Arizona United SC behind a last second goal from the visitors. Galaxy Homegrown Player Bradford Jamieson IV tallied for Los Dos, his first of the season.
The match comes just two weeks after the Galaxy faced Sacramento at StubHub Center’s Track & Field Stadium, with the visitors earning a 3-2 victory on a stoppage-time goal. Saturday’s match marks the second of four matchups this season between the two sides.
Under the direction of head coach Preki, Sacramento has started the season 1-2-0. Republic FC are led by forward Octavio Guzman, who has scored three goals this season.
