LA Galaxy II forward Augustine Williams was named to USL Championship Team of the Week after his outstanding performance against Tacoma Defiance on Saturday, March 16.
In the match, Williams recorded his first goal and brace for LA Galaxy II to help his side secure a 3-0 victory over Tacoma on the road. Williams' first goal came in the 24th minute after Ernesto Walker showed his strength in the box, shrugging off a defender to fire off a shot. Williams tucked the shot past Tacoma's goalkeeper to put Los Dos on the board first.
in the 60th minute, Diedie Traore sent a perfectly weighted long ball into the box, finding Williams who expertly headed a floater over the keeper to secure his brace.
