LA Galaxy II will face Real Monarchs SLC at home before making their longest road trip of the year in a visit to New York Red Bulls II as they attempt to shake off a 4-0 loss to Orange County SC suffered at Orange County Great Park over the weekend. The USL side is now 1-4-1 with four points.
Los Dos are back at StubHub Center on Wednesday, May 10, when they will host Wine Wednesday as part of their midweek matchup against Real Monarchs SLC. All fans coming out to the match will receive a free LA Galaxy wine stopper and be treated to $2 wine offerings, courtesy of Stella Rosa.

And later in the week it’s a rare bit of scheduling for Los Dos when they square off against NYRBII, as USL Western and Eastern conference teams don’t usually play each other in regular season play. This season, Los Dos is 0-3-0 on the road ahead of facing NYRBII, the 2016 USL champions.

The club signed 20-year-old midfielder Jonathan Hernandez last week. Hernandez returns to the organization after graduating from the Galaxy Academy in 2016, followed by a CCCAA championship season at Mt. San Antonio College. With Hernandez’s signing, nine of 15 players for LA Galaxy II are former members of the Galaxy Academy. In addition, nine former Academy members are currently signed to MLS contracts with LA Galaxy.
