LOS ANGELES (Sunday, May 1, 2022) – Playing their eighth match of the 2022 USL Championship Regular Season, LA Galaxy II earned a 3-0 shutout win over Phoenix Rising FC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday night. In his first start of the year, Jonathan Pérez tallied a goal and two assists, while Cameron Dunbar and Remi Cabral both notched goals in the win over Phoenix.
LA Galaxy Academy
Five LA Galaxy Academy products started in the win over Phoenix: Eric López, Jalen Neal, Felipe Cobian, Dunbar and Pérez. Taylor Davila and Adrian Gonzalez appeared off the bench for LA. Pérez tallied a goal and two assists in his first appearance of the season for Los Dos, while Dunbar notched a goal in the victory against Phoenix.
LA Galaxy II At Home
With the win over Phoenix, Los Dos won their third consecutive match at home dating back to a 1-0 win over Rio Grande Valley FC on March 23.
