CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014) – LA Galaxy II (14-7-6, 48 points) announced today that the club will offer free entry and parking for their first-ever USL PRO Playoff match, a quarterfinal at StubHub Center on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m., shown live on www.lagalaxy.com.
In their inaugural season, Galaxy II are currently 14-7-6 and in fourth place in USL PRO standings. Los Dos head into the final match of the regular season this weekend when they face Sacramento Republic FC on the road at Bonney Field Saturday, Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. PT live on www.lagalaxy.com. Galaxy II will finalize a time and an opponent for the USL PRO Playoff quarterfinal match following Saturday’s result.
The 2014 USL PRO Playoffs will include the top eight finishers in the table, with the quarterfinals (No. 1 vs. No. 8, No. 2 vs. No. 7, etc.) set for the weekend of September 12-14. The semifinals, featuring the four remaining teams, will be played the following weekend with the 2014 USL PRO Championship set for the weekend of September 26-28. All playoff rounds feature a single-game knockout format and teams will not be re-seeded following each round.
