LA Galaxy II are on the road again this weekend, headed to Fresno, Calif. to take on USL expansion side Fresno FC at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, March 24 at Chukchansi Park. The match will be streamed live on LAGalaxy.com/2).
The match will mark Los Dos' first-ever fixture against Fresno FC. LA Galaxy did face Fresno FC in a preseason match in Santa Barbara ahead of the 2018 MLS Regular Season. LA won that game 3-1, with goals from Sebastian Lletget, Chris Pontius and Tomas Hilliard-Arce.
Over the weekend, Los Dos fell 2-0 to Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in their 2018 season opener. Six newcomers recorded their first career starts for Los Dos: Tomas Hilliard-Arce, Nate Shultz, John Requejo, Emmanuel Appiah, Julian Büscher and Frank Lopez.

In other news, LA Galaxy II announced five new players last week including Lopez, Büscher, Appiah, Requejo and Wade Hamilton. Appiah (Saint Louis FC) and Hamilton (Portland Timbers 2) join from USL sides, while Büscher (D.C. United) and Requejo (Club Tijuana) join from MLS and Liga MX clubs. Lopez signed his first professional contract after coming to Los Dos from Miami Soccer Academy.
Los Dos are now 11 days from their 2018 Home Opener, to be hosted on Saturday, March 31 against San Antonio FC at StubHub Center. Tickets to that match are available for purchase here.
