LA Galaxy II bring their two-game unbeaten streak to StubHub Center to take on Phoenix Rising FC at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, May 27 (live streamed LAGalaxy.com/2).
LA Galaxy II return to StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium after a two-game road stretch that saw them earn four points. They’ll get a second crack at the re-branded Phoenix Rising FC, formerly Arizona United SC, less than two months after they suffered a 2-1 loss at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex.
Los Dos earned a 1-1 draw against Rio Grande Valley Toros FC on Saturday, after a Justin Dhillon equalizer in the 72’ minute gave Galaxy II the boost they needed to leave with a point. A week earlier, Dhillon bagged the game-winner in a 2-1 road win over New York Red Bulls II.
Last week, the club announced the return of Alejandro Covarrubias, a Los Dos veteran who rejoins the squad after a brief stint with OKC Energy FC. He’s now featured for the team in each of their four season of competition, and is the club leader in appearances with 78.
