CARSON, Calif. (Friday, April 17, 2015) – LA Galaxy II (0-3-1) return to StubHub Center’s Track & Field Stadium for a USL match against Austin Aztex (2-2-0) this Sunday, April 19 at 5 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com and called live by Joe Tutino and Ralph Perez.
Sunday’s game will feature $2 tacos, $2 beer, free parking and free entry for fans 12 and under. Additionally, select LA Galaxy season ticket members receive full season tickets to Galaxy II.
Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, Los Dos will seek their first win of the year following an 0-3-1 start to the season. Galaxy II last played on Saturday when they fell 3-1 to Sacramento Republic on the road at Bonney Field last Saturday. Newcomer Ariel Lassiter scored his first goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a 3-0 halftime deficit.
Under the direction of head coach Paul Dalglish, Austin has started the season 2-2-0 and are led in scoring by Kris Tyrpak, who has notched two goals in four appearances.
Sunday’s match will mark the first-ever meeting between LA Galaxy II and Austin Aztex. They will face each other again on Saturday, Aug. 15 in Texas.
