LOS ANGELES (Monday, March 27, 2017) – LA Galaxy II return to training this week to prepare for their first road trip of the season, facing San Antonio FC at 5:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, April 1 at Toyota Field in San Antonio.
Los Dos earned a 2-0 shutout win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 in the team’s Home Opener over the weekend, behind a tally from Ethan Zubak and an own goal. The win was the first for new Head Coach Mike Muñoz.
Six players made their debut for LA Galaxy II on Saturday afternoon: Jon Kempin, Ian Lonergan, Jean Engola, Tyler Turner and Miguel Aguilar all started while Justin Dhillon was subbed on in the 74th minute. Six former LA Galaxy Academy players featured in the match: Hugo Arellano, Jaime Villarreal, Bradford Jamieson IV, Adonis Amaya, Justin Dhillon and Ethan Zubak. Current LA Galaxy Academy defender made his first start for the club.
