LA Galaxy midfielder Douglas Costa has been named to MLS Team of the Matchday presented by Audi for Matchday 35 after his performance in the Galaxy's 3-3 draw against Portland Timbers. Costa was involved in all three of LA's goals, including two assists and his first goal of the MLS regular season, and created a team-high four chances in 58 minutes of action. Costa, who has recorded one goal and nine assists in 859 regular-season minutes played this season, leads MLS with 0.94 assists per 90 minutes played (min. 650 minutes).
Eriq Zavaleta was named to MLS Team of the Matchday bench for his performance, including scoring his first goal for the LA Galaxy.
