LOS ANGELES (Friday, Dec. 30, 2022) – LA Galaxy midfielder Mark Delgado will ride on Rose Bowl Stadium’s 100th Centennial Celebration float in the 134th Rose Parade® on Monday, Jan. 2. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT, Delgado will ride alongside Cozmo and LAFC forward Christian Torres in the Rose Bowl Stadium’s centennial float in promotion of the LA Galaxy’s 2023 MLS Regular Season opener against LAFC at Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 25 (6:30 p.m. PT; Apple).
The 2023 MLS Regular Season opener at Rose Bowl Stadium marks the 17th meeting across all competitions between the LA Galaxy and LAFC, with the Galaxy leading the all-time series 7-4-5. In his first season with the Galaxy, Delgado tallied two goals and four assists in 32 games played (31 starts) across all competitions in 2022.
Following the Rose Parade® on Monday, Jan. 2, Penn State University will face off against the University of Utah in the 109th Rose Bowl Game® (2:00 p.m. PT; ESPN) at the Rose Bowl Stadium.
