LA Galaxy will return home to play at StubHub Center this Friday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. PT in a match against the Montreal Impact. The match, presented by Sizzler, will be broadcast live on Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum Deportes. Galaxy II will play in their second-straight road match this Saturday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. PT against Pheonix Rising FC.
All time, the Galaxy have gone 1-1-3 against the Eastern Conference Montreal Impact, facing the side once each year since they joined MLS in 2012. In home matches against the Impact, the Galaxy are 1-0-1 all time, earning a 1-0 win in 2013. In their most recent matchup, the Galaxy fell to the Impact, 3-2 on the road at Saputo Stadium behind a last-minute goal from former forward Didier Drogba in a contest last season. Friday’s contest will mark the only contest against Montreal this season.
The Galaxy will return home this Friday after a 4-2 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on the road at BC Place on Saturday. Midfielder Romain Alessandrini tallied two goals in the contest, giving him two goals and two assists in his last two matches played on the season. LA will look for their first win at StubHub Center this season, falling in their first two matches to FC Dallas and Portland Timbers.
