LOS ANGELES— The LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Team opened their season with a 2-1 win on Friday night at Dignity Health Sports Park.
Jose Conde Jr. opened the scoring in the second minute of play before David Huerta added a second in the 27th minute. The Dynamo pulled one back in the final minute with a tally from Andres Garcia but were unable to find the equalizer.
The Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Team return to action on May 4 when they play the New York Red Bulls Unified Team at Red Bull Arena.
