LOS ANGELES -- The LA Galaxy remained stable in the MLS Power Rankings presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment ahead of a double-game week.
Los Angeles face a critically important pair of matches this week on the road against Colorado Rapids on Wednesday and then a match vs. Sporting KC on Sunday.

"As if the loss to the Sounders last week weren't bad enough, the Timbers' win on Saturday pushed the Galaxy out of the playoffs spots in the Western Conference. A Wednesday night trip to Colorado gives LA the chance to pull themselves back into the top seven."
"The Galaxy also have a pivotal double-game week after a week off, against teams below the playoff line. LA are themselves below the playoff line at the moment, so they have to win to get back in position for a playoff return, and each opponent could be pretty tricky in spite of their positions in the standings."
