  • Jonathan Klinsmann, who made his first start of the season against Portland on March 25 and earned a shutout, gets his third consecutive start of the 2023 campaign in the match against Houston. Klinsmann has made 10 career regular-season appearances (9 starts) and posted three shutouts for the LA Galaxy.
  • Calegari makes his third consecutive start for LA in the match against Houston Dynamo FC. Calegari finished last week’s match against Seattle with a team-high three interceptions and tied for a team-high eight duels won.
  • Martín Cáceres makes his sixth start of the season for the Galaxy. Cáceres appeared in his fourth World Cup (2010, 2014, 2018, 2022) for Uruguay at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
  • Making his fifth consecutive start for the Galaxy is 19-year-old Homegrown defender Jalen Neal, who leads the team in blocks (6), ranks tied for first in clearances (18) and second on the Galaxy in interceptions (7).
  • Raheem Edwards, who leads the team with 35 duels won and ranks second on the Galaxy in possessions won (38), makes his sixth start of the season at left back.
  • Gastón Brugman captains the Galaxy in his sixth start of the 2023 campaign. According to Pro Football Focus FC, Brugman leads MLS in line-breaking passes completed (89), with the next closest player being Toronto FC’s Michael Bradley (68). Brugman leads MLS in passes attempted (458), successful passes (411) and ranks fourth in MLS in possessions won in the middle third (30). Brugman tallied an assist in the Galaxy’s 3-1 win at Houston on Oct. 9, 2022.
  • Designated Player Riqui Puig makes his sixth start of the season for LA. Puig ranks second in MLS in successful passes entering the final third (114), tied for second in MLS in dribbles completed (21) and third in successful passes (350). Puig scored a goal in the Galaxy’s 3-1 win at Houston on Oct. 9, 2022.
  • Mark Delgado makes his sixth start of the 2023 campaign for the Galaxy in the match against Houston. Delgado has tallied two goals and four assists in 38 matches played (37 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy.
  • Making his fifth start of the season for the Galaxy is Memo Rodríguez, who recorded 17 goals and 14 assists in 141 regular-season games played (85 starts) for Houston Dynamo FC (2015-22)
  • Tyler Boyd makes his fourth consecutive start for the Galaxy in the match against Houston. In last week’s match against Seattle, Boyd led the Galaxy with five chances created and finished tied for a team-high four successful dribbles.
  • Making his fifth start of the 2023 campaign is Dejan Joveljić, who has tallied 14 goals and five assists in 50 career regular-season appearances (17 starts) for LA. Joveljić scored a goal in the Galaxy’s 3-1 win at Houston on Oct. 9, 2022.
