LOS ANGELES (Monday, June 24, 2019) – The LA Galaxy (10-6-1, 31 points) are on the road again this week, facing San Jose Earthquakes (5-6-4, 19 points) at 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 23 at Stanford Stadium (Spectrum SportsNet).
The LA Galaxy are 31-22-15 all-time against the San Jose Earthquakes. The Galaxy went 1-0-1 against the Earthquakes in 2018, with a 1-0 win last May at Dignity Health Sports Park and a 3-3 draw against the Earthquakes at Stanford Stadium last June. Romain Alessandrini scored in both matches, while Zlatan Ibrahimović recorded a brace in the Stanford Stadium game.
The Galaxy completed the first half of season with a win against FC Cincinnati over the weekend, a 2-0 shutout victory at Nippert Stadium. Ema Boateng tallied his first of the year while Favio Alvarez recorded a goal and an assist.
